I was super giddy when I got the email that I had been selected to be featured on Click It Up a Notch for the "Have you met" series on photographers from all over. I really enjoyed answering the questions but choosing 10 photos to share...that was tricky. I have the most amazing subjects...beautiful families, gorgeous weddings, amazing tiny people...I end up falling in love with them all.

This experience was life changing.  I laughed, I cried and was truly inspired.  I made new friendships.  I came back changed.  Not only was I inspired as a photographer but also in my own life.  For the first time in my life, I wanted to take some risks.  I play things safe, I do what is expected.  But I heard Joy Prouty tell her story...a story of awakening and the incredible, yet painful and challenging journey with her family.  I listened to Elizabeth Gilbert and felt she was speaking only to me, giving me permission to live life based on my passions and not my fears.  And I met these incredible women....they supported me, we encouraged each other.  I am truly, truly grateful for this experience and where it will take me.  And a special shout out to my husband.  He held the fort down while I was gone and didn't look at me like I was crazy when I told him how this has changed me.  In fact, when I have a dream, he helps me find a way to make it happen.  I u.
