Not your typical school portraits

Talk about an absolutely awesome experience!  When the Sweet Kiddles owner emailed me about photographing their kiddos for Spring school portraits, I didn't hesitate to say yes.  I (along with my awesome assistant and friend Tara) photographed well over 100 adorable kiddos.  My school portrait style is different.  It is less about the clothes and the perfectly styled hair and extravagant backdrops and props, but more about a glimpse into their personalities and natural smiles and giggles along with some of the pensive look I love so much!  I want their images to be timeless and reflect who they are in this moment in time because childhood goes so quickly.  I hope that when their parents look on their prints now and in the future, a smile creeps across their face because the image caught the little person they know so well.  Here is a small sample of the beautiful faces that were in front of my camera that day.  Get ready for a bit of an over share.
