It all started with a camera. But then again, I guess for a photographer, it always does. My husband bought me a Canon Rebel for my 29th birthday and I was instantly hooked. If you know me at all, I have a bit of an obsessive personality...meaning, when I get into something, I GET INTO IT...110%. I took photography and editing classes, joined my local photography club and started archiving our life in a slew of snapshots.
Once we had our first little man, I started filling up my hard drive with every moment of his life. My big boy is now a big brother to his little brother and sister...all 3 of my kiddos get plenty of lens time. I was fortunate to fall into a beautiful Fall wedding as the lead photographer and my business grew from there. I am honored to photograph wedding stories, family fun and seniors ready to embark on their next big adventure, and adorable preschoolers, toddlers and babies for school portraits. I get giddy just thinking about how lucky I am to have these amazing people in my life to document who they are at that very moment in time.
I shoot with a Canon R6 & R6II and the Canon M6II as my walk around compact camera. I am a bit of a lens hoarder but my favorites have to be the
Canon RF 35 f/1.4L and Canon RF 28-70 f/2L. I love my bold Pink House of Flynn and Kelly Green Kelly Moore Bag but always on the look out for more...a girl can never have too many bags...or shoes for that matter.
When my camera isn't in my hand, I love to snuggle with my people and seek out new adventures...always with a cup of coffee in hand. I love summer, mountains, tiny feet, and happen to be a steak and potatoes kind of girl.
