We could not have asked for a more gorgeous Fall day!  But it isn't the weather that makes the session...it's the way this family is connected.  They laughed hard, and played together...that's what I love to capture with families...their connection.  What makes a family session a success?  It's not the perfectly planned outfits (although these are top notch!) or the everyone looking, smiling pic...it's being yourselves with all the tickles, smiles and exploring together.

You can see it when they are together....a connect and a sense of fun and adventure. I don’t often get the chance to photograph families with children in the middle school years...with busy schedules and growing kiddos...their lives are busy. But look at this photos....this is why it is so incredibly important. You want them to remember what it was like at this crazy busy time in your lives...remember what it’s like to play together, run around a park, play on a baseball field as a family...not just two parents watching their girls play from the stands. You’ll blink and they will be High School Seniors. Take just an hour...and afternoon and capture this time in your lives as a family.

The girls have changed so much in the last few years and I am honored beyond belief to spend another session with them. I enjoy telling thief story with a blend of play and posed portraits so that they look back not only knowing how they looked but how it felt to be together as a family...as sisters. E family...you have such a special place in my heart ❤️.
