It was actually a pretty cold day for October, but you would never know looking at their images.  Playful, young and in love.  There is probably nothing better than that.  M&K compliment each other perfectly. She is the organizer...dreaming of her wedding since she was just a little girl...how everything will be perfectly planned and laid out.  He brings the silliness...the playful side to their relationship.  Isn't that what a marriage is all about...complimenting each other...growing and sharing this life together.  I can't imagine a better combo than this.  Their winter 2017 wedding will be planned down to the very last detail and paired perfectly with fun, laughter and smiles...celebrating the start of their lives together.  I cannot wait!

Where do I even begin?  Is it the gorgeous flowers?  The beautiful rustic barn hidden on acres of breathtaking land?  Or the dress?  Could it be the dress?  What makes a wedding perfect, it's not all the meticulously chosen details (although I adore them so), it's the love and the laughter.  That's what really made my beautiful friend's day perfection.  She is a photographer herself...I was completely grateful (and slightly nervous) that they chose me.   So as you look through their images, the ones I have poured over for hours and dozens of times, look for what I see the most.  Love (of course love), joy...connection...two incredible people choosing to spend this life together...and all of the joy from those they asked to be by their side.  Happy wedding day, my friend.  All the work paid off and you experienced what it was really all about...just you two.

It was a perfect August day.  Not a rain cloud in sight...yes it was hot, but it's August of course.  She was relaxed for her day...she knew, they knew...there was no question that this is what they were meant to do.  I watched them laugh together.  The moments when one looked at the other as if no one was watching...as if it was a moment for just the two of them.  And above all, it was a party...a celebration. Cheers you two!  Much happiness, laughter and all the moments in between.

This is the spot where it became official.  Six months before in the cold Cleveland weather, he went down on one knee and made it official.  I met Miss Tara only a week before over coffee as we chatted about everything photography.  It's important to have a co-worker and friend.  Thanks for being mine girl!  And she may not know it, but when she asked me to photograph their wedding day, I was giddy and feel truly honored.  And here we are, on this beautiful but chilly June evening, catching a glimpse of the beautiful couple that have chosen each other, forever.  I love engagement shoots so very much.  It is a chance for the couple to celebrate each other without the distractions, hustle and bustle of their wedding day.  It was just the two of them (ok, with me, the 3rd wheel), snuggling, hugging and laughing. Congratulations you two and savor the moment.

It was one of those rare warm days in November.  There had been rain and snow the Saturday before so when we moved the session date I was keeping my fingers crossed.  Aside from a little (ok, well a lot) of wind, the weather was just right.  The rain held out and the torrential down pour started as we were driving away.  

Aren't they just perfect together?  I just love doing engagement sessions because it helps me get to know my bride and groom that much better :)  I can't wait to document their beautiful day this summer.

{A & J} married before {A} left for military duty a year ago.  They chose this fall to celebrate their marriage with family and friends!  Their beautiful baby girl was part of their celebration (although sleeping through the major part)...it was beautiful to see the family of 3 celebrating their lives together.  Congratulations you two!! It was the perfect evening for 2 (+1) beautiful people. 

Young love is a beautiful thing!  The day could not have been more perfect and the company more complete. These two are a perfect match.  I am so honored to have been the one to capture these moments :)
