It was a freezing Fall morning but we managed to capture the essence of who they are together, despite the temps. This girl right here is my hair guru...I’ve sat in her chair as she cuts and colors my hair over the last 5+ years and I remember the first times she started talking about Anthony. Smiled from ear to ear...glows when she talks about him and when she’s around him. And if you sneak through this set you will see the way he looks at her. I feel so very lucky to have taken their engagement photos....and I am truly so happy that they found one another. They are absolutely fantastic. I adore a gorgeous rustic wedding under a canopy of trees...and a reception that ends in some shirtless groom and groomsman dancing. I mean what more can you want...romance, a gorgeous setting and a crazy party to celebrate it all? Columbia Ballroom is one of my favorite venues to photograph...its causal and beautiful and the couples that choose it are always fantastic! Here’s to happily every after, you two!

These two are the real deal.  They are head-over-heels madly in love.  The smiled, laughed and were the perfect compliment to each other.  He makes her laugh...what more could you want?  I am so excited to capture their wedding day in 2018!

Now, I thought that I was a huge Chipotle fan but you know you're beat when the groom asks to add Chipotle as stop during their engagement shoot ;)  A&A are the most playful couple and the end to our shoot was a perfect match!  The Avon Lake Chipotle was the perfect end to the session!

They may have met in San Francisco, where they live now, but they both have midwestern roots that will bring them back here for their wedding several months from now.  They are the perfect compliment...completely relaxed and at home in each others company.  He makes her laugh and smile and the way she looks at him....I feel so lucky to be the one to document your day.  The future Mr & Mrs B :)

Love is in the air.  A friend kept nudging them in the direction of each other and when she finally agreed to meet Mark, that was it.  It was clear to both of them...this was something more.  And here they are...less than a year away from sealing the deal and making it official.  She warned me that they aren't good at pictures...but I knew better.  When two people love each other it always comes out in the photos...they might start out nervous and unsure but by the end, who they are together is clear.  Congratulations M+A...I am thankful you chose me. ​

This is the day they had planned for...a year in the making.  It was the perfect reflection of who they are.  She grew up on land, they enjoy the outdoors...this barn style rustic wedding was a match.  An outdoor wedding can be tricky in Ohio and even with the threat of storms and a dozen clear umbrellas in my trunk, mother nature smiled on them and not a drop of rain fell from the sky.  It was the most beautiful day.  They smiled, laughed and celebrated their day with those that are closest to them...it was a pleasure to have a front row seat as they said I do.  Congratulations V+P!

I don't know how I get so lucky.  I truly have the most amazing clients.  N+S are the real deal.  They are happy and completely in love.  I see the way they look at each other, laugh together, hold each others hand as they walk.  And I am the lucky girl that gets to witness that love and send it back to them in images.  I have been thinking about what it is that I really love about weddings. and couples...it's the connection, the beginning of their story together.  There will be years of a building and changing, ebbing and flowing story, but this is the start.  They will look back on these are remember who they were together from the start.  N+S, you are beautiful people....I am looking forward to your wedding in 2017!

Do you ever meet someone that is purely and completely caring and full of heart?  Now double it and that is what you will find with C+M.  Genuinely giving, caring, compassionate people...full of faith.  And it was that faith that brought them together.  Yes, it rained this day, and we braved the rain drops only briefly, but the drizzle didn't damper their day in the least bit.  They get it.  They know what this day is about.  It is about the two of them spending this life together.  Here is your story...but it is just the beginning.  

I knew they/we were a good match when her stories were just as long as mine and her finace teased her about them...and she laughed at the truth of his teasing.  I'm a talker...so when I meet another talker...you can't get either of us to stop.  It really is so important for me to feel a connection with my clients.  I consider them my friends.  And if I am going to be by their side on their wedding day, we all need to be sure that we are a good match.  There was no question when I met C+M.  The most genuinely sweet couple you could imagine.   So in love and so kind and caring.  I feel so grateful that they found me.
